Paul Pierce has enjoyed a fantastic NBA career that likely will be remembered in the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mass.
Don’t start the clock on his Hall of Fame eligibility just yet, though. It appears “The Truth” will be returning for another season.

The 2015-16 campaign was Pierce’s first with the Clippers, who are coached by Doc Rivers — the forward’s longtime coach with the Boston Celtics.
Pierce played a bench role for L.A. last season and averaged 6.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. He ranks third on the NBA’s all-time scoring list among active players with 26,316 points.
