Brazil and Mexico played to a goalless draw Tuesday, the second such result of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
However, unlike the snoozer that Iran and Nigeria played Monday, this shutout had some remarkable moments. Most came from Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo “Memo” Ochoa, who provided us an early nominee for the best save of the 2014 World Cup.
After a cross went into the box, Brazil’s Neymar tried to ignite the home crowd with the first goal of the game with a header. But Ochoa made an incredible diving save and palmed the ball away from the net.

Goal-line technology showed the ball was on the line when Ochoa batted it away.
Ochoa was back for more, making increasingly tremendous saves that kept the game goalless.
There’s no doubt Ochoa was the man of the match because of saves like these.
