Boston Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid is one of the NHL’s toughest players and won’t hesitate to drop the gloves for a fight if necessary.
McQuaid, who missed most of last season with quad and ankle injuries, has returned to the Bruins lineup this preseason after not playing since Jan. 19, and he’s played the physical, defensive game B’s fans have come to appreciate from the veteran.
He had his first fight of the preseason during Friday night’s road game against the Washington Capitals. McQuaid’s opponent was Washington D-man Steve Oleksy, and it was one of the more entertaining bouts of the month.
