New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski nearly had his pants ripped off after making a reception in the first quarter of Saturday’s AFC divisional-round playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens at Gillette Stadium.

The incident is rather ironic given that a Gronkowski-inspired erotic novella penned by Noonan — “A Gronking To Remember” — made waves earlier this week.
No word yet on whether Gronk’s near de-pantsing will be in the script for any book-based films.
