Ty Law won’t be joining the Pro Football Hall of Fame this year, and one of his former teammates has a problem with that.
The former New England Patriots cornerback wasn’t among the 15 players named as finalists for the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2016. Among those who made the cut ahead of him was Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison, who lined up across from Law for nearly a decade.
As the debate over who got snubbed and who didn’t rages on, Law’s ex-teammate and former Patriots wide receiver Troy Brown decided to offer his take on Twitter.

Take that, Hall of Fame voters.
Brown is right, of course. After the Patriots knocked off Indy in the AFC Championship Game in 2004 — thanks in part to Law’s three interceptions of Peyton Manning and physical play on Harrison — then-Colts president Bill Polian lobbied for the NFL to institute a rule disallowing defensive contact on wide receivers within five yards. That rule still stands today.
Brown, who owns a spot alongside Law in the Patriots Hall of Fame, also had some shots to fire in Manning’s direction.
