Unless you live under a rock, you’ve probably heard that Peyton Manning announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday.
And while a select few used the occasion to take a shot at the now-former Denver Broncos quarterback, the majority of those in the sporting world responded with an outpouring of praise for him.
As expected, current and former NFL players weighed in on Manning.
Peyton was everything we thought he was and even more – for our team & community. What an AMAZING career & we're thankful he was a Bronco!!

Those tributes all were touching, but the Broncos took the cake with their tweet shortly after Manning’s press conference ended.
