This NFC North Team Needs To Make Statement With NFL Playoff Berth Secured

The Vikings are back in the postseason

The Minnesota Vikings clinched a playoff spot upon the conclusion of the Sunday slate in Week 15 of the NFL schedule. That doesn’t mean they don’t have business to take care of in their battle on Monday Night Football.

The 11-2 Vikings host the 4-9 Chicago Bears in an NFC North clash at U.S. Bank Stadium. Minnesota won the previous matchup 30-27 at Soldier Field in Chicago in Week 12.

The Vikings are a capable scoring threat under offensive-minded head coach and former NFL quarterback Kevin O’Connell. Sam Darnold found his ultimate resurgence at quarterback with 28 touchdown passes and nearly 3,300 yards through the air. He has a capable running back in Aaron Jones and talented wideouts Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

NESN’s George Balekji and Travis Thomas previewed the matchup on the latest episode of “Boston Has Entered The Chat.”
