Philadelphia enters as the favorite

The Los Angeles Rams will visit the Philadelphia Eagles for their NFC divisional round matchup Sunday afternoon.

Philadelphia, the No. 2 seed in the NFC, went 14-3 in the regular season and most recently defeated the Green Bay Packers in the first round. Meanwhile, Los Angeles’ 10-7 team, which earned the No. 4 seed, overcame the Minnesota Vikings in the wild-card round with a shocking 27-9 victory to keep its playoff hopes alive.

Both sides met in the regular season once as the Eagles prevailed with a convincing 37-20 victory over the Rams in Week 12. Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts, who completed just 13 of 21 passes for 130 yards, isn’t concerned with anything other than the Eagles punching their ticket to the NFC Championship Game.

“I think you guys need to understand that I don’t play the game for anything other than to win,” Hurts told reporters Wednesday, per PHLY’s Zach Berman. “My role in each will be different. The approach in each game is different.”

Philadelphia is a 6.5-point favorite to send Los Angeles to the offseason, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, heading into the clash.
