The Boston Bruins look to break a three-game losing streak when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs at TD Garden on Tuesday.
Boston is coming off a 3-2 overtime loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday. Team leaders offered an honest assessment of the team as general manager Don Sweeney decides what the best course of action is for the B’s before the March 7 NHL trade deadline.
Sweeney confirmed Hampus Lindholm is likely out for the season, and the Black and Gold will be without Charlie McAvoy for a second straight game. Oliver Wahlstrom and Cole Koepke will be inserted into the lineup for Justin Brazeau and Riley Tufte on the third and fourth lines, respectively.
Puck drop for the Bruins-Lightning matchup is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
Here are the projected lines and defensive pairings for Boston and Toronto.
